Cuban Sunset (Playa Ancon) – In Another Minute (319)

Every once in awhile we just need a break – just a moment to take a breath. I hope that watching this Cuban sunset from Playa Ancon, Cuba, will give you that.

And currently, I also need such a break. As I’m writing this, I’m in the midst of pre-production for my on-going documentary All’s Well and Fair. I film for that every 10 years and then release a new version of the film. By the time, this video will be published, I will be in the middle of production in Gainesville, Florida. So I needed something simple to prepare for you, my dear audience – and I also thought it would be nice for me to enjoy a few minutes of looking at the sun setting over the lovely beach of Playa Ancon on the Caribbean Sea.

The only big decision with this Cuban sunset video I had to make (besides finding nice, relaxing Latin-esque music) was if I should start the video after that grumpy woman walks through. Well, I didn’t want you to miss out on the bright red sun beforehand. And maybe this will be a lesson to everyone watching this video: please don’t walk in front of a camera on a tripod that is pointed at a sunset. That camera is probably recording a sunset time-lapse.

Next week, I might have a video from Florida for you – or maybe a full video about Playa Ancon…

The music in the video is “Laid Back Guitars” by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)
